Bug Description

Installed version is 0.4.1~bzr829+201104040233~maverick1 on Ubuntu.

Problem is that sometimes minimized applications can not be 'unminimized' anymore by clicking on the icon in the taskmanager. The only solution in this case is to right click the icon and then click 'Unminimize', which seems to always work. I can pretty easily reproduce this with:
1. minimize all open applications so that the desktop is visible;
2. maximize a single window
3. minimize that window by right-clicking its icon in the taskmanager and then clicking "Minimize".

I have tried to run AWN in a terminal to see if I can get some meaningful error, but this doesn't seem to be the case. The only thing I can see in the terminal when this bug occurs, is:

** (avant-window-navigator:26286): CRITICAL **: awn_cairo_pattern_add_color_stop_color: assertion `color' failed

** (avant-window-navigator:26286): CRITICAL **: desktop_agnostic_color_get_cairo_color: assertion `self != NULL' failed

And these 2 lines repeat over and over.

What window manager is in use? (Compiz, metacity, xfwm) And can it be duplicated with a different Window Manager?

The WM I'm currently using is Metacity, not sure if it also applies to other WMs, since I don't have anything else installed right now.

Tried duplicating the bug on a Debian machine, but wasn't able to. Not exactly sure what triggers it.

Happening to me also, in Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) and Archlinux up to date (July 11, 2011).
In Ubuntu using Gnome Desktop 2.x with Compiz Fusion, in Archlinux using XFCE with xfwm.
It happens sometimes, to reproduce it I just work normally until it happens. Totally unpredictable. and with any window. Mostly with Chromium Browser.

Sorry for adding Ubuntu to the Affects list, a mistake.

Could you check whether this bug is still present in the testing packages in this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~p12/+archive/awn ?

Thanks!
