Bug Description

This bug is new in the latest trunk, 0.4.1-rewrite-bzr814+201012250025 on Ubuntu 10.04 amd-64 with compiz:

I Have 3 1680x1050 monitors connected through a Matrox TripleHead2Go run via an Nvidia graphics card. This appears to the graphics card/system as a single 5040x1050 screen.

Hints are setup to identify the multiple monitors in my xorg.conf as follows:

 Option "TwinviewXineramaInfo" "True"
 Option "TwinViewXineramaInfoOverride" "1680x1050+0+0, 1680x1050+1680+0, 1680x1050+3360+0"

Despite the inclusion of "Xinerama" in these options, Xinerama is not active, nor is TwinView, and these setting properly tell xorg where the screens are for window maximizing and such.

Previous to this version, with the monitor mode forced in AWN and the width/height set to 5040x1050 (both offsets 0), intellihide worked properly regardless of the dock location. As a side note if AWN is allowed to automatically detect the monitor arrangement it only sees screen 1, this as been true as long as i can remember using AWN.

In the newest version, the dock will disappear when an active window covers it regardless of the dock's position along the bottom of the screens.

However the dock will only reappear when the mouse is run to the bottom of the screen if the dock is on monitor 1 (the left most screen). When the dock is on monitor 2 (center) or monitor 3 (right) the dock will only reappear if a window has focus that does not cover it.

As a work around, setting "Monitor X-offset" in awn-settings to 1680 to trick it into thinking the center monitor is screen 1, allows me to place the dock on the center screen, where i generally keep it and mouse over to work.

If there is any additional information i can provide to help, let me know.

Cheers,

Mark

Could you check whether this bug still occurs in the testing packages of this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~p12/+archive/awn ?

Thanks!
