make it possible to save every configuration in the theme

Hello,

I don't know if this is possible, but I would love if I could save all of the current configuration in the theme file (like "Size of icons", applet placement, just to name a few), so that everytime I want to have my current configuration, I can just reinstall the theme and have it all back. The reason for this is that most of the time when doing an upgrade or reinstall the previous settings (if replaced with a simple copy/paste) will stop working or behave strangely.

well I have saved a theme file myself, so that I have the config in a single place. At the time I saved it, the icon size was set to 32px, but everytime I reinstall that theme it gets automatically set a lot higher (somewhere between 48-64px), so it seems to me like the settings get screwed anyway?
