Bug Description

This actually happens only in a very specific scenario. The conditions to reproduce this are as listed below:
- When using a dual-screen display;
- When the screens are positioned side by side;
- When the bottom of the screen displaying AWN is above the bottom of the other screen;
- When AWN is positioned by the left or the right side of the screen;
- When the indicator applet is at the bottom of AWN;

Phew! So, when all these conditions are met, if I click on a icon in the indicator applet, the menu appears with arrows, and does not show correctly. To correct it, I must hover the mouse over the arrows, so the menu corrects itself. There is a screenshot attached showing what i mean.

INFORMATION:
- Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 Maverick
- Installed Awn via the PPA repository.
- Awn version: 0.4.1-rewrite-bzr771+201011032120
- Video card: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)

Anyway, thanks a lot, and keep up th good work! Let me know if I can help somehow :)

You mean this is different from bug #624576 (you reported it)? What is your version of awn-applets-c-core-trunk?

Yes, it is different. Apparently, the bug I reported previously was fixed, as it does not happen anymore with a single screen display, which was how I tested then. However, this issue still happens on this very specific case. I'm sending a screen shot of the same action, but on a single screen. It is possible to see that the menu is alright.

My awn-applets-c-core-trunk version is 0.4.1~bzr1476+201011032003~maverick1.

Thank you, just one more question (because I have only one screen): Does it also happen if you enable "Applet Icon mode" in the applet's preferences?

Yes, it does.

Confirming with screenshot only, as I haven't got 2 screens here. Since I can't test and haven't got a clue what's the cause for this at the moment I leave it unassigned.

It also affects awn (in Applet Icon Mode), probably in libawn/awn-utils.c in awn_utils_menu_set_position_widget_relative().
