Ability to resize the dock

You should be able to resize the dock vertically if the dock is in the sides or horizontally if the dock is in the top or bottom, and also, You should have the ability to limit how much the dock should expand if it is in panel mode. Because the dock overlaps the panels if the dock is in panel mode

Adjusting the expansion, to not overlap gnome panel, should be a fairly easy thing to fix. It would greatly improve the appearance, when awn is expanded perpendicular to gnome-panel.

Well, for the moment I can suggest you to enable "Monitor Mode" in "Advanced" tab, then change the monitor size and choords (in Advanced tab), in order to not overlap gnome panel :)
