Autohide Too Fast

I'd like at least a 5 second pause from when the dock appears to when it decides to autohide again. It's very easy to have it come up, have your mouse wander off, and have it fall directly after appearing! The result is having to catch it. A bit of a wait should fix that.

I made a simple patch which adds a delay (2 seconds) before hiding the bar. Should this be configurable via gconf?

That would be good, then people can make their own decision about what is a
suitable timeout for them.

A new patch. This patch allows the user to set the delay. Use gconf-editor to change key "auto_hide_delay" to preferred delay in milliseconds.
