This happens to me as well, though it doesn't seem to happen on start up (with avant-window-navigator in my Gnome sessions). Only if for some reason I close AWN and re-launch it.

On Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 / Compiz Fusion.

yes, this happens to me as well. it is of course solvable once loaded, clicking a launcher or a blank area on the background bar seems to solve it. i'm not sure but i seem to remember a point in an old version when it didn't do this... some specs (please forgive, they are from memory) : intel graphics "card" on my laptop, using beryl for the composite engine. intel based laptop, ubuntu 7.04... don't think there's anything else which would affect it. many thanks when its sorted.

This should be fixed. I remember a while back there was a fix committed for this. Maybe I'm wrong. I have an integrated intel card w/ compiz fusion and I don't think I have this problem.

I do however have a delay set for AWN so that Compiz Fusion always starts before AWN.
