Bug Description

I used to let my PC sleep to S3 and turn it on remotely or on demand.
At some point after recent updates it resume to "Gnome Greeter?" and ask for username and password, a screen I'm not used to see but I know how to use it:
I put my password and hopefully everything is where I left: But no, the session start over from the beginning :-(

I recall from memory an update to AMD proprietary driver, but there is no route back.
I update the kernel to 3.8.0-35 before report, but I have the bug from before.
Is there a log of recent updates?
If there is a log: Can I undo an update?

OK, is an awn bug then.
I was following the guidelines to remove the green plus sign so:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/awn/+bug/990774

# remove libdesktop-agnostic-cfg-keyfile
dpkg --get-selections | grep agnostic
sudo apt-get install libdesktop-agnostic-cfg-gconf
sudo apt-get remove libdesktop-agnostic-cfg-keyfile
dpkg --get-selections | grep agnostic

And Suspend to RAM (STR/S3) stopped working.

So I report the bug with the https://bugs.launchpad.net/awn/+bug/990774 opened by mistake and the report goes to awn instead of ubuntu. But was not a mistake after all:

sudo apt-get install libdesktop-agnostic-cfg-keyfile
sudo apt-get remove libdesktop-agnostic-cfg-gconf

And Suspend to RAM (STR/S3) start working again :)

So I removed AWN and replaced with Cairo-glx.
