Bug Description

I built AWN from source. The build went okay without errors and all the dependencies were met. When I try to run, I get the following output.

** (avant-window-navigator:5757): WARNING **: No introspection data registered for object class "AwnApplication"

(avant-window-navigator:5757): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_get_list: assertion `value != NULL' failed

** (avant-window-navigator:5757): ERROR **: awn-app.vala:66: No panels to create!
** Please check that the gconf-schema is installed.
** You might want to try running `killall gconfd-2`.

Did you install it as a *.deb package? If not, then certain post-install
configuration updates have not been applied, which prevents AWN from
launching successfully.

You can easily build a debian package by using packaging information in
this[1] repository.

Thanks Povilas. No, I did not install as deb package. I did make and make install to install AWN. I will try building a deb packages and see if it works.
