Bug Description

Hello,

I have 0.4.2-0ppa1 installed.

I installed awn from scratch. The dock loads but the awn settings applet is not loading.

When I click the "sad face", errors shown on terminal :
** (awn-applet:7452): CRITICAL **: desktop_agnostic_config_schema_get_metadata_option: assertion 'self != NULL' failed

** (awn-applet:7452): CRITICAL **: desktop_agnostic_config_new_for_instance: assertion 'schema != NULL' failed

(awn-applet:7452): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from 'DBusGProxy' to 'DockManager'

Might be linked with #1247772 ...

Also see attached a screenshot showing awn loading, a few newlines, and the "sad face" click to reload the applet.

Ubuntu 13.10, tested under Xfce, then Unity. Same behaviour.

Thanks in advance. This is good to have someone maintaining awn!

Did you use older packages from the awn-testing PPA by chance?

Nevermind, I've just confirmed that this is a not a regression but an old bug.
