Bug Description

AWN version 0.4.0 installed via yum in Fedora 13. Gnome with compiz. Nvidia video card.

The bug title really says it all: lots of files end up in /tmp. These are XML files with the atom/rss/whatever feeds of the various comics. The timestamps of these files make it appear that they get created every half hour, but really it is sporadic (the most recent files are from Sep 29, and it is Oct 6 now, so nothing from the last week). If it matters, this is on a laptop on a wireless network and I frequently go to sleep mode.

These temporary files are normally deleted on exit. However, I also have some old ones in my /tmp directory that were probably not deleted because of crashes, maybe sleep mode or even for other reasons. Setting importance to low because /tmp directory can be safely deleted on shutdown or reboot.

Changed in awn-extras:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Confirmed
