weather-applet reports network-error to fast after resume from suspend-to-ram

As mentioned in the summary the weather-applet reports network-error a bit to early after resume from suspend-to-ram. On my systems the wlan is to lazy to connect fast enough. It seems to be the message that was introduced because of the following bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/awn-extras/+bug/325189

I'd recommend to give the applet a lot of time (even some minutes) to connect. It's not time-critical at all...
Or put an option that silences the message maybe.

Is this related to the problem listed <a href="http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1704685" here</a> (Ubuntu forums) where the network error pops up quite regularly even with good network connection?

No, that issue was caused due to changes in the HTML from weather.com (and a temporarily broken link to the classic map for 1 or 2 days)
