Bug Description
When date is shown, the format is 'month day' like June 10. But here in Europe many use another dateformat, like 10. June ('day. month'). I think this should be integrated.
Would it be a Python-applet I would have tried hacking it myself. But I have no idea where to start with this applet. I tried to find resonsible files with Synaptic, found '/usr/lib/

Thanks for your bug report, a fix has been committed in revision 1464. Translators can decide about the date representation, this way it should be the right one for each locale.
