Bug Description
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx
Awn and Awn Extras: 0.4.0 installed from source (tarball)
The Places applet has in its preferences dialog a checkbox "Use Gtk". However, this setting is ignored and it always uses its own
colour scheme. If your Gtk theme is accidentally the same, just change the colours in the Places applet to some weird values, click ok. Enable "Use Gtk" again: the colours do not change.

I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with this bug. My intent is to move places into unmaintained as soon as I have an opportunity to provide a standalone places mode through the cairo-menu applet. Anyway, for now I'll mark as triaged until I can determine the status of places for the the next release.
Thanks for the report.
