Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.04
Installed from ppa
metacity compositor
GeForce 8500 GT

If I use awn at the bottom or the top then the switcher functions properly - if though I use the dock at the side (which is how I use it) shiny switcher does not always function correctly. In fact only twice has it done so - I have it set up as 3 row and 1 column - I nearly always get 1 row and 3 columns regardless fo configuring.

Today I got 3 rows and 1 column so managed to get screenies - also ran awn from terminal and attach output.

I'll have a look into what is happening. My suspicion is that Metacity might be setting it to 3x1 and it's unable to modify the configuration when it starts up. My suggestion as a short term fix is to configure the metacity workspace to a 3x1 configuration also.

Correction: Configure metacity to a 1x3 configuration.

Changed in awn-extras:
assignee: nobody → moonbeam (rcryderman)
status: New → Confirmed

That does appear to work for the moment.
