hi Grega,

May I help with some debug tracking ?
Sorry for the question, but: how to start the single hardware sensors applet in debug mode, so that I can send you the debug tracing ?

yes Giuliano, I would appreciate some help, since I cannot replicate this myself.

There is no special debug output for the python applets afaik, so just run avant-window-navigator in a terminal, and watch the output for anything hardware-sensors related.

You can also give me some more info:
 - when the applet disappears, does restarting awn help?
 - what sensors do you have in the applet?
 - does this "just happen" or does it happen when you change a setting?
 - what settings do you have enabled?
 - how long is this problem present? aka. is it in just the last few versions of awn or longer?

thanks for your help.

Gnome Sensors Applet does not show temp for HD in Linux kernel 2.6.35-30-generic (x86_64). Works in 2.6.35-28. CPU temp shown OK. Also icons are side-by-side when in 2.6.35-28, they were displayed vertically. (I have my panels on the sides of my wide screen monitor instead of on top and bottom)
