awn system monitor crashed on call

my actions:
add awn system monitor applet
click on them
applet crashed
click on applet to restart wont help
remove applet from panel
add awn system monitor applet
...
unlimited applet crash...and again and again...

upd.if i click mane times to restart applet - it helps, but then - it crashed again.stable fall when im try to click on it

same here. at times, the applet loads on click with no problems, at times it crashes with the error message mentioned above. there doesn't seem to be any obvious logic to when it fails or not.

i'm running karmic on a 32bit system, kernel 2.6.31-20, gnome 2.28.1 and a nvidia gpu with the 185 driver version.
