Bug Description

Sometimes awn crashes, and when I restart it, the notification applet won't start because it claims there's already another notification area running.
I'm putting together what I can from the apport data since it's not a genuine Ubuntu program...

Moving to Awn Extras because:

Please try the experimental packages as described here:

http://awn.planetblur.org/?action=g_reply&ID=2288

affects: awn → awn-extras
Changed in awn-extras:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Incomplete

I tried the packages from that PPA, but it's too buggy for me to test. It only came up with one of my launchers and a task manager (and no tray that this bug is about). Running awn-settings gave

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/awn-settings", line 500, in <module>
    awnmanager = awnManagerMini()
  File "/usr/bin/awn-settings", line 463, in __init__
    self.wTree.add_from_file(self.XML_PATH)
glib.GError: Duplicate object id 'frame4' on line 1778 (previously on line 976)

That should be fixed in the latest package upload.

Also, as the forum post said, none of your settings are currently migrated from 0.3.x to 0.4.x.

This should be fixed in the 0.3.9 version of Awn.
