Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid), Release 8.10 (intrepid), Kernel Linux 2.6.27-9-generic, GNOME 2.24.1.

If I open vi from the terminal applet, I am unable to close vi once I type 'i' to insert.

In order to use the terminal applet again, I go to awn-manager and deactivate the terminal applet and activate a new one.

I'm using version 0.2.6.

Per the instructions on the bug reporting page, this should have been filed in the Awn Extras project, as this is an applet specific bug.

Ctrl - C does not work here, and it is not a solution because by pressing Escape key doesn't mean I want to exit vi, maybe I just want to save the file and then continue editing it
