Stacks applet: pdfs shouldn't be displayed with a preview instead of an icon

Bug Description

* Ubuntu 8.10
* installed AWN from official Ubuntu repos
* Avant Window Navigator 0.2.6
* metacity
* intel GMA onboard card - don't know which driver

The stacks plugin shows a preview of pdf documents - which isn't very helpful if you have a dozen of them in the stacks. Generic icon's would be better in my opinion. I've deactivated the pdf-preview option in nautilus but this isn't changing the behavior of stacks.

IMHO the best solution would be if the stacks behave exactly like nautilus.

Per the instructions on the bug reporting page, this should have been filed in the Awn Extras project, as this is an applet specific bug.

Moving to awn-extras.

This is probably because stacks uses the old VFS library (gnome-vfs) whereas nautilus in Intrepid uses the new one (GIO/GVFS).
