awn terminal applet has no copy/paste option on right-click

The terminal applet in awn has no option to copy and paste. Right-click does not do anything. I have seen this discussion in a couple of threads on the internet before and it was claimed there that this has been fixed, but I just installed the latest awn (August 2008) from the awn-testing repos and it doesn't work for me.

What am I missing?

Closing the avant-window-navigator (Ubuntu) task as this is regarding an applet in awn-extras.

Also, I can confirm this behavior with awn-extras built from source at bzr rev 812.

I'm not convinced that this is a bug in Awn. Feel free to contradict me.

While this is true, you can still easily copy/paste using the same keyboard commands as gnome-terminal and probably others, by using Ctrl+Shift+[C/V]. This is typically EASIER than right-clicking and accessing a context menu.

I just tested and you are right, but in a mind-boggling way!
To copy, I need to do Ctrl+C and to Paste I need to Ctrl+Shift+V. That's why I never managed to do this in my previous tests. I have no explanation for this funny behaviour. Maybe these shortcuts can be changed somewhere ....

Hi,

Right-click does not do anything. It's true.

But, you can take a command with right click/copy from a webpage, then
a middle click for paste to the awn-terminal applet.

...the probleme it's when you use a touchpad on a laptop

At least, you can emulate a middle click by clicking on left and right button at the same time.
