Bug Description

I have just read about a app for osx called dropdock, it resides in the dock and a user simply drops files/folders to it followed by it asking how you want to upload those files/folders ie flickr, WebDAV, ftp & SCP. It then uploads those files via the selected method, i think this would be a great addition to the already strong list of applets.

Since this is an applet request, it should be a blueprint in the awn-extras project.

I agree that this would be nice; I suggested a similar thing a bit ago on the forums: http://www.planetblur.org/hosted/awnforum/index.php?shard=forum&action=g_reply&ID=1231&page=1&isLive=true.

Okay, I created a Blueprint here: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/awn-extras/+spec/drop-transfer-applet. It is my first one so let me know if there is anything I can do to improve it.

Actually, I had already created a blueprint for this bug and linked them together (see "Related blueprints in the sidebar). I've obsoleted it since yours looks a bit more fleshed out.
