Well, here's the patch, but it doesn't seem to work here. =(

I added "Exec=python /path/to/python/applet.py"

eg: "Exec=python @LIBDIR@/awn/applets/MiMenu/mimenu.py"

Now the terminal output is:

python: can't open file '/usr/local/lib/awn/applets/python': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
