Bug Description
I have Ubuntu 13.04 without Unity. I installed AWN as windows dock. I noticed that notification area applet doesn't have "applet icon mode" so it doesn't have mouse over animation effect in systray. Indicator applet has an option to enable "applet icon mode" that let icons have animation effect.
