Hello,
The reason might be this:
GNOME will not automatically show Ubuntu's (original) AppIndicator icons on the systray area.
One must install extension to support AppIndicators on GNOME-Shell.
The extension you may need is this: /extensions. gnome.org/ extension/ 615/appindicato r-support/
https:/
----
First, check your GNOME-version.
$ gnome-shell --version
(in my case it is: GNOME Shell 3.32.0)
Then download the .zip file from /github. com/ubuntu/ gnome-shell- extension- appindicator
https:/
Select shell-version and extension version.
The copy & link the extension. /github. com/ubuntu/ gnome-shell- extension- appindicator
Read the "Installation" section of https:/
--- Please notice ---
This is very easy to do in .DEP and .RPM based distros by using the Chrome-plugin for GNOME-desktop. I do not know how to do this in Manjaro.
