I am using:
Linux Mint 12, Gnome-shell 3.2.1, Audience version: 0.1-0~r94+pkg5~oneiric1

When I select "Watch a DVD" nothing happens
This is what I see when I run audience from a shell and select "Watch a DVD"

I do not have a dvd player on my personal laptop, and at work I do not
have a DVD disc :)

So Cody, Tom, if one of you can have a look at this?

Tom is aware of it, DVD support is painful to implement.

Is there a chance to take some code from totem for adding dvd playback support?

If gets implemented, how about a dialog for installing codecs for playing encrypted DVD's? ( with legaly issue warnings, and such stuff)

ok, dvd should now be working, the general support meaning preview and goto menu and chapters if possible will hopefully be added later too.

Looks to me like it's looking for the dvd in the wrong place, so gets nothing. I usually have to specify /dev/sr0 for my DVD (actually BDRW) drive.

Re #9 and #10

I got this:
[_LOG_LEVEL_DEBUG 20:46:27.361434] Audience.vala:617: Opening dvd:///
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.13 for DVD access
libdvdread: Attempting to use device /dev/sda1 mounted on / for CSS authentication

libdvdnav:DVDOpenFilePath:findDVDFile /VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.BUP failed
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.BU.

/dev/sda1 is my hard drive.
Can I change the drive path, and how ?
