Bug Description

Locking the resize-ability of the window will ensure that we never see black bars around content when resizing (unless of course it's encoding into the actual video). Just like mplayer in the Terminal.

Oh wow, I didn't know it's possible without ugly workarounds! It would be GREAT to have this!

When the aspect ratio is known this is not that hard... at least given what I just came across for the other resize bug... you can provide instructions to the window manager. The benefit mplayer has is that this ratio is fixed by the video.

In audience, because of the controls, this ratio is not fixed. Because the controls are not scaled the ratio changes constantly when resizing.

There is also something terminals and gvim are using to resize in steps (based on the character size). Perhaps this is an option, but I guess we get into trouble there because this will need to be integer based steps... which makes it hard for us.

I implemented it now, but I think we should add a dconf key for it, it could not be wished always.

This is AWESOME. But yes, there should probably be a dconf key.
