Preview window on navigation bar make HD videos lag/freeze [$50]

Player work very well but when i navigate in the bar the preview window make everything lag.
Maybe my geforce GTX 660 doesn't handle it.
Audience is a very simple and beautiful videos player can i turn off the little preview box on the navigation bar ?

I have exact the same issue with any type of video file.

Hovering and moving the mouse cursor over the navigation bar of Audience makes the video stuttering. The preview window and the video itself get choppy.

I only have one graphics card : Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0116] (rev 09).

I am not sure if I am seeing the same issue here, but for me audience crashes every time I try to hover the playback bar, or whatever it's called. I can reproduce this reliably, so if there is testing to be done, contact me (preferably in slack).

Note: this does not seem to be related to HD videos at all, it happens on almost any video for me

If I may add my $.02, I really dislike the preview window on the navigation bar. I use my laptop for watching the majority of my TV and Movies, and all of my video files are stored on a server in my home. Even with a very fast connection, every time I mouse over the navigation bar there is serious lag while it tries to load a preview from a position in the movie where it has not yet buffered. I don't think I'm alone in that almost all of the video I'm watching is stored on a server somewhere. For that reason, I think it may be worth reconsidering the preview window, or at least providing the option to disable it. You'll note that other prominent players, including QuickTime, don't include this type of feature for the same reason.
