no subtitle synchronization option [$15]

Bug Description

For non-english speakers, it's impossible to find the right subtitle (syncd) most of the time, so you have to sync it mannually. there are like a thousand languages in the world..

Synchronization should be done in subtitle editor where, subtitle can be modified and saved. Having synchronization option in video player like vlc and other seems to be pointless as it will never be as powerful gnome-subtitle and changes can't be save

I disagree. It's not about power, it's about convenience. The average user doesn't want all the bells and whistles, he just wanna have something practical. Plus, most people doesn't watch video files more than once. If that's the case, he might then go through some subtitle editor.

yeah please, Ï could SO use that feature!

I have SM player installed just for these cases, otherwise I'd just use audience/videos, love the clean ui!

Same here, Martina. Actually, having opensubtitle integration (which SMplayer has) is the perfect solution. Cause you get the right sub, already synced.
