tasks from rtm synced to droid automatically clear after due date

I noticed on my droid that tasks i had previously setup on rtm, and then synced to my droid on astrid automatically clear and advance to their next repeated instance after their due date. for instance, i have a bill that is due on the 12th, and even though i didnt mark it as complete, it cleared and changed its due date to next month on the 12th, as set on rtm to repeat every month. so basically, if i dont get something done, it clears it anyway, and i dont see it on my todo list anymore until its due next time.
