Bug Description

You will ask me like that :
_Is it necessary ? What will do with the New Force Shield ?

Let's explain it...You know there is a tag under Force Shield logic in rulesmd.ini. file called "ForceShieldBlackoutDuration=...."

this tag determines how long the power goes off when you use a Force Shield on a building that belongs to you or your ally...But if you set "Negative Value" for this tag;this becomes a "Toogle Power" superweapon with duration...(setting Ispowered=no under superweapons tag section at the end of the rulesmd.ini file for the "Force Shield" will be much more useful,you realize :)

"ForceShieldBlackoutDuration=" with negative and "ForceShieldDuration=" positive
is UNBALANCED...(I mean Both of Force-Shield and Toogle Power without Blackout
makes player undefeatable...(Too powerful... :( That is not clear.So Toogle Power superweapon must not give a Force Shield !!! (by setting ForceShieldDuration=0 )

But we know that Toogle Power Superweapon always COSTS our old ForceShield superweapon by this way..So we need ANOTHER...

Maybe this time my time is up :) but it can be smart, can't be ?

I have just found out a bug and I don't think it is fixable...

You can use the new Force Shield Cost "Toogle Power SW" ;by clicking on your or your ally's buildings only.Because it still uses ForceShield logic,you know...
(since Force Shield can be used only on buldings :)

If you wanted to have Toggle Power, why not bring it back as it was in TS instead of a useless SW?

Well, I was thinking about something similar, but I'd use it against the enemy, and since EMP can't be used to disable building functions, TogglePower remained.

This has no relationship to issue #684, actually.

And since this is marked as Rewrite Request, well, here's my attempt:

Allow support for TogglePower SW's with the following tags:

Type=TogglePower
PowerOutage.Duration=integer in seconds

Nope, originally TogglePower wasn't an SW.

In TS, TogglePower is a button on the GUI which allows you to switch your building on/off. It's used for power management, when you haven't got enough power, you can disable some buildings to allocate the required amount.

Honestly, I like that this was removed from RA2, but as a tactical SW it'd be interesting.
