Bug Description

I want to be able to make a weapon that does not waste Ammo (To create a Comanche (From Generals)-Like unit).
I want

[LGTN]
...
Ammo=2

;Do I have a gattling gun or not

IsGattling=yes

TurretCount=1

WeaponCount=6

Weapon1=Cobra

EliteWeapon1=CobraE

Weapon2=LgtGattling
EliteWeapon2=LgtGattlingE

Weapon3=Cobra
EliteWeapon3=CobraE

Weapon4=LgtGattling2

EliteWeapon4=LgtGattling2E

Weapon5=Cobra

EliteWeapon5=Cobra
Weapon6=LgtGattling3

EliteWeapon6=LgtGattling3E

WeaponStages=3
...

[LgtGattling1/2/3(E)]
UsesUpAmmo=false
...

To make a comanche-like unit that shoots with his Cobra missiles (that DO exist in my mod) while he has them vs. Vehicles and uses his AG gattling gun against infantry (by giving the Cobra a BAD infantry verse) or when he waits to reload his cobras.

Albrecht: :P
basically it'd just be easier to have
[weapon]
Weapon.requiresAmmo=y/n

or
[weapon]
Weapon.uses.ammo=int0-whatever (0 means uses 0 ammo, 1 means uses 1, 572 means uses 572)

if it's possible

How the first one differs from mine? Because it didn't provide an example?

The second one is more versatile and so is better.

OKAY

The idea is nice, but how well would it work in YR?

Interesting. Could be used to make a new kind of weapon. I would like this feature please :)

Issue #316 is a much, much more sensible way of doing this.

Posted it before I knew of #316. Close & De-qualify for DFD.
