Bug Description

A plane logic, like the one in generals. You could make a tag called:
Need airport=

With that you could tell the game if the plane need to take off from an airport, or if could take off everywere.
To make the plane take off with an airport simply make it drive into it, like if it was an service depot. Then the plane would take off and begin to fly.
Then if there where a fuel tag, the plane could ran out of fuel and land in the closest of your airports. But if there wasn't any close enough, it would crash into the ground.

To get a plane to start any where make a tag called: Deploy into=Take off . Then the plane would take of and if ran out of fuel it would either land or crash down.

So what do you say?

[quote]Then if there where a fuel tag, the plane could ran out of fuel and land in the closest of your airports. But if there wasn't any close enough, it would crash into the ground.

This would be a very annoying and senseless feature. Also I think the already implemented Aircraft logic goes really close to that.

Edit: Removed some bullshit I posted.

Sounds like a lot of micro-management and I can't see it adding anything fun to the game.

learn grammer, then edit this...

Or indeed 'grammar'.

Not sure what gordon means by non-airport bound planes - we already have those don't we?

Nevermind, I messed up with something.

I do like the fuel idea actually, although maps in YR aren't that large

Well, what would make sense is having a "Fuel=" tag, like "Passengers=", "Storage=", "Ammo=" tags, not only for aircraft, but any unit (with corresponding PipScale=Fuel), which would run out by moving the unit. That would be great for tactical missions, and you could add "UnitRefuel=yes" to Airports, Service Depots or custom-made Fuel Depots to reload units that have run out of fuel, or have indeed all the settings of the Reload logic converted to Refuel as well.

A weapon should be able to refuel to. Amount designated by RefuelAmmount=interger or something like that.
