game crashes after choosing map.

- player would choose a map by 'customize map'
- upon choosing and exiting the map list; back to the main skirmish window, the game would crash.

It's odd though, I tried to run my private mod in my own laptop and it works fine, but not in my desktop computer. I couldn't pinpoint the problem...

what folder can I find it? because that's the only thing the game would give out when it crashes.

Arr, I found it. Though it's a 193MB file... I'll find a good time to upload it, my internet's being an ass.

Also, I tried running the game without Ares, and it can easily switch in between the Customize Battle and main windows.

You could have zipped that file. Would have spared you some time to upload it and me time to download.

The problem is in HydraDHM.dll, which is be part of HydraVision, an ATI driver tool. Nothing I can do about that, I guess.
