The MusicBrainz Ids are duplicated in the converted file

I am trying to use SoundConverter to convert FLAC to MP3 with all the tags. Many of the tags are OK but there are the following issues:

1. the tag "musicbrainz discid" is created (this tag is the same as the official tag musicbrainz_discid but the underscore is replaced with a space).
2. the values for the tags musicbrainz_albumartistid, musicbrainz_albumid and musicbrainz_artistid have been duplicated.
3. some MusicBrainz tags () have but converted to comments.

If I remove the duplicate from Id from musicbrainz_albumid then I can use Picard (a MusicBrainz tagger) to place all the tags back into the MP3 file again so the tags are supported in MP3.

Picard apparently merges those into one tag, with ';' separating the two values

I keep my music in FLAC on an external drive, and convert to MP3 for my devices.

A lot of the MusicBrainz tags get corrupted in the conversion process, like what other commenters said above; opening the files with Picard then adds extra tags all over again.
