Frame Rate: 1/25 fps
Resolution: 640x480
Camera Output: MJPG
Video File: capture.avi
Video Codec: MJPG - Compressed

Audio Details:
Input Device: default
Sample Rate: Dev. default

Recorded for 3:27,

I have the same problem. Using different codecs doesn't help. I have webcam with device id 046d:0990, a Quickcam Pro 9000. I am not using Ubuntu, but ArchLinux, so this is probably an upstream bug.

I should also note that audio is out of sync immediately for me and remains out-of-sync through the whole video. The audio seems to drift increasingly out of sync because no preset delay or FPS-fiddling seems to fix the thing entirely.

I have this problem as well with a Quickam Pro 9000, however I am using Ubuntu 11.04 and guvcvuew 1.4.4. I have hours of video with audio that drifts ahead or lags behind the video at different times.

I am also experiencing this problem using Ubuntu 11.04. The audio seems to be in sync at the beginning of the recording, but eventually falls out of sync. I am using the built in webcam on my Toshiba Satellite laptop as well as the built in microphone.

I have the same problem. Using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. Audio will not sync no matter what settings used. I have a Microsoft Live Cam. Would love to see a solution!
