Bug Description
The animated movie thumbnail gif is distracting when the movie is playing. The animated gif should stop animating (e.g be hidden or replaced with a static image) once the movie starts.

Do all movies have thumbnails available as individual images? This one does:

For browsers with JavaScript we could pull the individual image files instead of the animated gif and get better control of the animation. Also it would be great to be able to "scrub" through the individual frames by scrolling through the thumbnail left<->right. Clicking on that frame could take you to that time code.
