apt.ubuntu.com needs branding and functionality improvements

why was this changed to invalid in the ubuntu-website ? the apt.ubuntu.com is uninformative .

ubuntu-website is not the correct place for apt.ubuntu.com - I don't know what is. You may want to consider filing a bug report that has information, not just "The current one is ugly and uninformative"

David, according the the project page on launchpad it states: "A project intended to help get apt.ubuntu.com up to the standard at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/AptUrlRedirector"

If that isn't it, then I don't know. ubuntu-website, isn't the place though.

@Chris the site at apt.marcoceppi.com is the AptUrlRedirector project. Since it's a community project it hasn't been implemented on apt.ubuntu.com I think this bug report is a measure to get whomever runs apt.ubuntu.com (presumably the ubuntu-website team) to implement the AptUrlRedirector project which is now complete.

ubuntu-website is the wrong project for this bug. The ubuntu-website project is actually a place for community members who contribute to the sites surrounding www.ubuntu.com, especially in themeing. We don't actually know who is behind apt.ubuntu.com and aren't able to participate in it's development.
