Is this still a issue on current hardy? What happens if you run:
$ apturl apt:2vcard
$ python -c 'import pygtk'

The crash happens when I tried to install Flash plugin while a package manager was installing updates.

Same for me. Resulting in the loss of my internet connection (but returned upon reboot).

Hi Michael,

Both the commands work fine in hardy. I get the prompt to install the install the v2card software for the first one and the python gtk kit executes with no errors. As i reported earlier, the problem seems to be happening when 2 different package installers are at work.

Please let me know if you need further information.
