Bug Description

When I try to install a new programme, it gives an error about reinstalling linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic package. Then I decided to upgrade to 11.04, but that also didn't work. Cause there is a problem with linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic package. I downloaded nearly 10 different version of linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic package but they also didn't work. So here I am. After I tried to upgrade linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic package I received this message:

Here seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks. Please report this error at http://launchpad.net/aptdaemon/+filebug and retry.

SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate file for the linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

If someone could help me with my problem, I would be grateful. Thanks for your concern.
