Don't fail on deleted '/var/lib/dpkg/updates/'

Pop-up error window when i install software via ubuntu software center:
please help me out,thanks very much.

oh, by the way , i had run the command: sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/.... this can be in close relations.

You deleted an essential file on your system. That wasn't a very good idea.
