Scenario:
Was running the Software updater for Ubuntu 10.10 running inside VMPlayer on an AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor - gave over 2 cores to the VMPlayer.
There were approximately 400 packages to update, including some Mono ones, totalling ~35MB.
When re-running the updater it appears as if it is running correctly.
