Can someone please help? I'm a cartoonist, and I'm literally stuck without Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. I need to finish these comics, and without Wine, I can't. Anyone?

apport-collect 709048
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

Please also mention what package where you trying and from where (ubuntu software center, synaptic, command line, etc...). Thanks.

In the meantime, you could try running synaptic, and checking for broken packages. In bug #693180 the reporter said that he has fixed this by locating the broken package, removing it, the fixing the remaining broken packages. See comment 3 from bug #693180.

Does the error reappear if you try to install again? This seems to be a very rare race issue.
