Attempted to install the Option Globetrotter Add-on to the usb-modeswitch app. The install hung so Ubuntu Software Centre was closed, computer rebooted and USC opened up. It claimed that the add-on had been installed (as does Synaptic). Then attempted to install the other add-on (PPP) and received this error message:
