I just updated my 10.10 using the Update Manager. Then I selected Adobe Flash Plugin from the "Software Center". When I tried to install it failed with an error about unable to allocate memory. When I closed "Software Center" and repeated the installation attempt, I got exactly the error posted in the bug description.
Thus, this problem is reproducible on other systems.
