Bug Description

Tried to install "pidgin-bot-sentry" and "pidgin-privacy-please" packages using the software centre. Seemingly the software centre downloaded the "pidgin-bot-sentry" package and got stuck at the stage of installing. I waited a while then closed the software centre. Then relaunched the the software centre to install "pidgin-bot-sentry" again. It indicated that the installation was already in process. The result was the same: it got stuck again. I rebooted the pc and tried again. Then I got a message saying that "pidgin-bot-sentry" has already been installed. Then another one saying that there may be a bug in "aptdaemon" preventing it from installing, uninstalling and managing packages. Here are the details:

SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate file for the pidgin-bot-sentry package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.
