Bug Description

Songbird 1.7.3 (http://skyzim.com/songbird-1-7-3-installer) deb file installation crashes while performing via Ubuntu Software Center (maverick 10.10)

Error window:
An unhandlable error occured

There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks.

Same error in Ubuntu 10.10, installing Black Magic drivers from the Decklink package; DeckLink-7.8rc48-amd64.deb.

This is obviously a gamestopper for Ubuntu Meerkat. Bah.
