software-center fails to install local packages

Using the current Ubuntu 14.04 beta x86_64, I'm unable to install local packages (.deb) using the Software-center. I tried some third-party debs and some downloaded from Ubuntu.

Steps to reproduce (Terminal):
 * apt-get download fortunes
 * software-center fortunes_1%3a1.99.1-7_all.deb
 * Click "Install"

Seems to be fixed with version 1.1.1-1ubuntu5
