Bug Description

Latest Jaunty update today, Update manager failed, Crash report failed, synaptic package manager failed. Tried terminal apt-get upgrade and received report "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"
When I updated the other machine I deleted the apt updates and this machine updated ok.
How do I delete the last apt updates
New to linux, still learning how to use terminal.

SOLVED. The same has happened to me, it seems like some package cache corruption.
I removed /var/cache/apt/pkgcache.bin and /var/cache/apt/srcpkgcache.bin and tried "apt-get update" again it is working now.

If anybody here is interested in investigation, I can email him the corrupted cache; but beware it is 25MB! The fresh new one has only 11MB.
