Bug Description
apport now prevents reporting duplicate bugs.
However, it makes it hard for the reporter of such bugs to "see" the bug report concerned, and so subscribe to it, fix it, etc. A link to the bug concerned on LaunchPad, rather than just a generic error message saying the bug is already known, would go a long way to fixing this without making the UI any more complex or cluttered. if the text is something like
"This bug has already been reported"
then please make "This bug" be a link to the LP bug concerned.

Actually, apport opens the existing bug in the browser if it's accessible. There are situations where it isn't, though: the master bug might be private, and thus you couldn't open it. That's a more general problem of the current architecture of using Launchpad bugs, and covered by bug 764414.
